Arcadia Louisville January 2025 Newsletter

Birthdays

From the Executive Director

I want to wish everyone a wonderful New Year. I also wanted to
thank everyone that came for Thanksmas. It was a beautiful lunch
for the families and the staff truly enjoyed serving everyone.

With the weather turning cold, let’s make sure residents have their
winter wardrobe available with coats, gloves, and scarves. Also, with
cold and flu season upon us, keep in mind if you have signs and
symptoms (sneezing, fever, coughing, and sore throat), please limit
your visits. We want to keep our residents happy and healthy. If your
loved one did not get a flu shot at our clinic, you may consider
taking them to get one.

“Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the
touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the
time for home.”

-Edith Sitwell

I hope everyone has a safe and healthy holiday season. I look
forward to celebrating a new year with all the residents and their
families here at Arcadia!!

Sincerely,

Michele Davis, Executive Director
